Local Awards Program
Burlington Area USBC Association
Local Awards Program has been formed to recognize scores recorded by bowlers of
all average ranges. The awards program is for all sanctioned bowlers participating
in a leagues sanctioned in the Burlington Area USBC Association. The Awards
committee will assist the Association Manager with recording and distribution
of awards. The Board of Directors will decide what type of award will be given
to award winners. These awards will be awarded annually, based on the
Association calendar (August being the start of the year).
Awards will be based on average based
by the following table:

Averages will be based on the
bowler’s highest USBC average from the previous season. If no previous average
the bowler’s average will be determined after the bowler has completed 21 games
in one league. Once a bowler earns an award for each game or series they will
not able to earn an award for the same or lower award. If multiply awards are
earned in a series the bowler will only receive one award. A total of two
awards can be earned in each league. These awards will be given to the league
secretary to be handed out at the end of season league banquet or prize week.
Honor Scores
The Burlington Area USBC Association recognizes
a bowler’s first sanctioned 600 series and 700 Series bowled.
This award will be a plaque with the
bowler’s games, series, and date bowled. The award will be handed out at the
annual awards dinner.
The Burlington Area USBC Association
recognizes any 750 series or higher bowled by an individual in any sanctioned
event in the Burlington Area USBC Association.
This award will be a plaque listing
all of the bowler’s 750 series or higher and date bowled. This award will be
handed out at the annual awards dinner.
The Burlington Area USBC Association
will recognize any 300 or eleven in a row game bowled in any sanctioned event
in the Burlington Area USBC Association.
Each of these awards will a plaque
listing the game and date shot. The award will be handed out at the annual
awards dinner.
