Reports:
-
Association Tournament: Cari
McPartland reminded everybody of the dates
for the tournament. Singles/Doubles will be
held at Perfect Games and team will be held
at Sports Bowl. Dates for the tournament are
Feb 18, 19, 25, 26, Mar 3 and 4. She ordered
banners and they should be delivered
tomorrow (Nov 17). Entries will be ready to
go on the website this weekend. Donation
letters will go out after the first of the
year. Ames SIlversmithing and Perfect Games
are our tournament co-sponsors.
-
9-Pin Tournament: Keith Hawkins
reported that the fliers for the tournament
are ready to be posted at the centers. He is
going to check with those bowing the 9-pin
tournament to see if anybody would be
interested in a team event instead of the
doubles/singles that we do now.
-
Hall of Fame Committee: T.
Jennings and Mason reported that the Hall of
Fame committee discussed changing the Hall
of Fame categories. We had discussed taking
out the gender and using the same categories
with men and women together. The committee
voted to not do that. The committee also
voted to bring to the board to add another
category of 75 and older active or inactive.
This would have a separate category for men
and women. T. Jennings made the motion to
the board to accept the new category and
Swanson seconded it. Motion carried
unanimously.
Unfinished
Business:
-
Charity Mail-In Tournament: T.
Jennings reminded everybody it was time to
start the entries for the Holiday charity
tournament. She had the entries and the
league rosters and handed them out.

nominees that the Hall of Fame committee
voted on. The board voted to add Jean
Mensing for service and Ron Imlay for
