HONORED GUEST - GEORGE MARTIN -
USBC FIELD REPRESENTATIVE:
George
thanked the board for the invitation. He
told those present that USBC has three main focuses- Coaching for
both youth and adults, Youth programs and communications. He said
our board is one the first to merge. He was impressed that our board
is already working on those focuses. He told us that we should make
sure both the youth and adults are having fun bowling and feel
welcome in the leagues. One of the main reasons bowlers don’t come
back after a season of bowling is because they didn’t feel welcome.
ASSOCIATION MANAGER:
Gave
thanks to Teri Jennings for the hard work she
had done during harvest season. Then he thanked the board for their
dedication to the sport. He then asked the board to go to the
bowlers and find out what they want to see on their website.
