Meeting Notes:
President
Jennings called the meeting to order at 7:01 pm.
Roll call of officers and directors were taken. Present at the
meeting were President Jennings, 1st VP Greg Knop, 2nd VP Patti
McCoy, 3rd VP Bryan Carsrud, Ames VP Cari McPartland, Nevada VP Cheryl
Devore, Directors Terri Carriere, Deb Robinson, Scott Tscherter, Youth
Director Kelly McPartland. Excused from the meeting were Story City VP
Jake Jacobson, Directors Katie Banks, Jerry Everett, Tim Kadolph, Randy
Moore and Terri Loneman, Youth Director Patti Beck. Unexcused
absent from the meeting were Youth Directors Travis Mason and Michael
Mensing.
C. McPartland made the motion to approve the minutes of the previous
meeting as written. Carriere seconded the motion. Motion carried
unanimously.
COMITTEE REPORTS
AMES AREA USBC
1. Lane
Certification Committee: Everett emailed a Lane Inspection Report
stating that the lane inspections are complete.
2.
Association
Tournament: C. McPartland asked for approval of the donation letter
and names of businesses to send the letter to.
OLD
BUSINESS:

L. Jennings has the SMART account
opened for the youth scholarships.
2. Coaching DVD’s not ordered yet
(see New Business)
NEW BUSINESS:

Jennings
thought the association should apply for a credit card. The Coaching
DVD’s can’t be ordered without a credit card. McCoy
made the motion to apply for a credit card for the association. Carsrud
seconded the motion. MCU
2.
Devore has
secured the hall for the Hall of Fame meeting, but Karin was on
vacation to verify that she would be cooking the dinner.
3.
Tscherter made
the motion to approve the expenditure of $100.00 for the ad to be
placed in the Burlington State Tournament Book. McCoy seconded it. MCU
Jennings reminded the board
that the
State Jamboree would be held in Clinton on Oct 7 & 8.

T. Jennings let the board know that
Monica Mills has resigned from the board and she would be looking for
a replacement.
