Meeting Notes:
President
Hawkins called
the meeting to order at 7:02. (my fault).
Roll
call of officers and
directors: Present were: 1st VP Teri Jennings, 2nd
VP Greg Knop, 3rd VP Patti McCoy, Story City VP Jake
Jacobson, Nevada VP Bryan Carsrud, Ames VP Cari McPartland, Youth
Reps: Mike Mensing, Travis Mason, Kelly McPartland, Patti Beck,
Directors: Jerry Everett, Terri Siguas, Tim Kadolph, Deb Robinson,
Brian Harris, Monica Mills, Scott Tscherter, Cheryl Devore. Excused
absent-Terri Carriere.
Approval
of the minutes of
the previous meeting-Date on the minutes of the previous was changed
from June to July. Siguas made the motion to accept the minutes as
amended. Jacobson seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously.
COMMITTEE
REPORTS:
LANE
CERTIFICATION: EVERETT reported that they have completed the
lane
inspection at 20th Century and Sports Bowl. Everett also
reported that USBC charges $3.00 for the first four lanes and $.50
for each lane after that. AAUSBC will charge $4.50 per lane. Jacobson
made the motion to add USBC charges to our charges when
billing the houses for lane certification. T. Jennings seconded the
motion. MCU. ( While entering the lane certifications to bowl.com, I
found that USBC charges apply only to new lanes).
COACHING:
Carsrud reported his committee was very excited about all the
possibilities his committee was exploring. He will have a suggested
course of action by the September meeting.
WBA
AUDIT: Siguas reported that the AAWBA audit was complete.
OLD BUSINESS:
Siguas
made the motion to send Patti McCoy, Jan Sayers, and Teri Jennings to
the IWBA delegates meeting in Davenport. Devore seconded the motion.
MCU.
NEW
BUSINESS:
National
Delegates meeting is April 19-23,2006 in Florida. We are looking for
delegates to attend the meeting.
Next
meeting date is Tuesday September 6 at 7:00 in the conference room at
20th Century.
ASSOCIATION MANAGER:
I
took this opportunity to practice
my speech for the
league secretaries at 20th Century.
Robinson

to adjourn t 7:52. Kadolph seconded the motion.
