Meeting Notes:

President Tim Kadolph called the meeting to order at 6:35.

Roll call of officers and directors were taken. Present were President Tim Kadolph, 1^st VP Bryan Carsrud, Story City VP Jo Mortvedt, Ames VP Cari McPartland, Nevada VP Deb Robinson, Jewell VP Eudene Lund, Directors: Jerry Everett, Patti McCoy, Kandi Burris, Jarad Prescott, Kevin Holm, Youth Director Kelly McPartland and Past President Keith Hawkins. Excused from the meeting were 2^nd VP Terri Loneman, 3^rd VP Terri Carriere, Directors: Arden Schoep, Derrick Black, Lowell Crouse and Youth Reps: Aslynne Carriere and Patti Beck.

Minutes of the previous meeting (membership meeting)- Prescott made the motion to approve the minutes of the membership meeting as printed. Mortvedt seconded. Motion carried unanimously.

Treasurer Report- Assn Mgr Jennings-Carsrud made the motion to accept the report as written. McCoy seconded. MCU.

Committee Reports:

1. Scholarship Committee: K. McPartland reported that we had two applicants for the $250.00 scholarship. Both applicants meet the conditions of our scholarship and turned in all of the paperwork as requested. Mortvedt made the motion that the board award both Megan Mensing and Cody Wiederien the $250.00 scholarships. Holm seconded. MCU

Unfinished Business:

1. Tournament Committee-Cari McPartland-see attached report.

2. National USBC Convention- Hawkins. Keith wasn’t able to attend the national meeting, but did share some of the proposed changes and results.

New Business:

1. Iowa State USBC WBA tournament-Jennings reported that the association Manager of the Greater Des Moines WBA asked if we would be interested in co-hosting the state WBA tournament with them. She checked with Perfect Games to see if they would be interested in hosting the tournament and was told they would not be interested.

2. Iowa State USBC BA Jamboree- The board decided that since we wouldn’t be hosting a state tournament, that maybe we would be interested in hosting the BA Jamboree that is held in Oct.

3. Iowa State USBC WBA workshop- Jennings checked with the board to see who would be interested in attending the workshop. McCoy said she would be interested.

4. Next meeting-Our next meeting will be held at the Salvation Army Monday August 6^th at 6:30 and we are going to invite the proprietors.
