Meeting Notes:

President Hawkins called the meeting to order at 7:40 p.m.

Roll call of officers and directors was taken. Present at the meeting were President Keith Hawkins, 1^st VP Teri Jennings, 2^nd VP Greg Knop, 3^rd VP Patti McCoy, Nevada Director Bryan Carsrud, Ames Director Cari McPartland, Youth Reps- Kelly McPartland and Michael Mensing, Directors Terri Carriere, Cheryl Devore, Monica Mills, Terri Siguas, and Scott Tscherter, and Association Manager Lyle Jennings. Excused from the meeting were Story City VP Jake Jacobson, Directors Jerry Everett and Deb Robinson, Youth Reps-Patti Beck. Absent from the meeting were Directors Brian Harris and Tim Kadolph and Youth Rep Travis Mason. Also present at the meeting were members O.D. Green, Randy Moore, Carol Thompson, Eudene Lund, Connie Smith, Katie Banks, Jan Sayer, Karilyn Hawkins, Lowell Huggins, Tori Upchurch, and Jeremy Richards. We had a quorum of 25 people present at the meeting.

T. Jennings made the motion to accept the minutes of the previous meeting as written. Karolyn Hawkins seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously.

TREASURERS REPORT

Sayer made the motion to approve the Treasurer’s report. Karolyn Hawkins seconded the motion. Motion carried with 24 votes and Knop voted nay pending a tournament finance report.

OTHER REPORTS

Reports from the State WBA and BA and the acts of the board for 2005/2006 were given. Also given was the tournament committee report. All reports were present in the packet given to those present.

OFFICER ELECTIONS:

We then elected officers and directors. Carsrud made the motion to elected the following officers by acclamation.  Green seconded the motion. MCU 

Siguas made the motion to elected the following directors by acclamation: Scott Tscherter, Jerry Everett, Brian Harris and Tim Kadolph. T. Jennings seconded the motion. MCU. Since Devore was moved from Director to Nevada VP that opened up a one year director spot. Tscherter made the motion that we elected Katie Banks as a director. T. Jennings seconded the motion. MCU

We elected delegates to the State USBA BA convention. Elected were T. Jennings, L. Jennings, Keith Hawkins and Karolyn Hawkins. Alternates to the convention are Knop, Carsrud, McCoy, and Tscherter.

We elected delegates to the State USBC WBA convention. Elected were T. Jennings and McCoy with Banks and Carriere as alternates.

We voted O.D. Green to be our delegate to USBC National Convention with McCoy as the alternate.

Knop made the motion to pay the delegate to the 2006 National Convention in Orlando, FL $550. McCoy seconded the motion. MCU.

PRESIDENTS REMARKS:

Keith thanked the board for a good year. He wished Teri the best of luck and he announced he was having his surgery on April 14.

The next meeting date will be Monday July 17^th at 7:00 at 20^th Century in Ames.

Meeting was adjourned at 8:33.
